You are responsible for checking what communication methods are allowed in the facility where the person is incarcerated.
3. No Liability for Incarcerated Individuals or User Content
LoveBehindBars.com does not verify the information provided in profiles.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or intentions of any individual who appears on this Site.
You communicate with any incarcerated person at your own risk.
We are not responsible for:
- actions of incarcerated individuals,
- actions of users who contact them,
- financial loss,
- emotional harm,
- or any other negative outcome.
4. Moderation Rights
We reserve the right to:
- edit or remove any profile or content,
- block or suspend users,
- reject images or text that violate our rules,
- remove profiles that appear fraudulent or unsafe.
We may also remove content that violates correctional facility policies (e.g., gang references, threats, explicit material).
5. No Guarantees or Warranties
We do not guarantee:
- the availability of the Site,
- the delivery or receipt of messages outside this platform,
- that a prison will allow contact,
- the accuracy of user-submitted information.
The Site is provided “as is.”
6. External Communication
Any communication with incarcerated individuals (mail, JPay, Securus, GTL, email, phone calls, video visits, etc.) is entirely outside our control.
You are responsible for following correctional facility rules.
