Love Behind Bars was created with one mission in mind: to give every incarcerated person a fair chance to be heard, seen, and supported.
For many people in prison, communication with the outside world is almost impossible. Their families disappear, friends move on, and mail becomes their only window to humanity. Loneliness destroys people — connection helps them rebuild.
This project is completely non-profit, free to use, and built with respect for every person who wants to make a positive change in their life. No paid listings, no tricks, no hidden fees. Just a simple place where family, friends, and pen pals can find each other again.
Love Behind Bars was founded from compassion, personal experience, and the belief that every human being deserves dignity — even if they made mistakes. We support second chances, rehabilitation, and communication that brings hope.
